Our Story
Welcome to Locals Only Gifts and Goods! We are a family-owned and operated business founded by Danielle and Eric Landrum. Our mission is to provide high-quality, locally-sourced gifts and goods to the local community while supporting small businesses and artisans in the process!
We believe that by supporting local artists, artisans, and businesses we can help create a strong, vibrant, and sustainable community for everyone. That’s why we do what we do!
Our commitment to quality is at the heart of everything we do! We carefully select each item in our store, choosing only the best and most unique products from local artists and businesses. From handmade jewelry and home decor, to locally-sourced food and drink, we strive to offer a diverse and curated selection of products that represent the best of our community.
At Locals Only Gifts and Goods, we are more than just a store. We are a community hub, where people can come to discover new artists and businesses, connect with their neighbors, and support our local economy. Our Story
We love Chattanooga! It’s a special community filled with inspiring people and businesses – but we don’t need to tell you that. You wouldn’t be here looking at all that Chattanooga has to offer if you did not know it too. Work pulled us away from Chattanooga for a few years and we came back with an explosion of ideas and ingenuity. Chattanooga is filled with local entrepreneurs with fabulous products! We decided to put together these gifts using only local products to showcase all that Chattanooga has to offer and to support local business. We hope you enjoy giving and receiving these gifts as much as we enjoy finding great local products and putting them together! Charitable Contributions
At Locals Only Gifts and Goods, we believe in giving back to our community. We are proud to support a variety of local charities and organizations that make a positive impact in Chattanooga. Our charitable contributions include donating funds to the Public Education Foundation of Chattanooga’s Teacherpreneur program, which helps educators bring innovative and creative ideas to their classrooms. We have also adopted classrooms and organized school supply drives for East Lake Elementary and Clifton Hills Elementary, ensuring that students have the resources they need to succeed.
Additionally, we donated money for iPad charging stations at Calvin Donaldson Elementary and the Love & Logic curriculum to Rivermont Elementary. We understand the importance of technology in education and believe in supporting our local schools. We also donated funds for Chromebooks and graphic calculators to Howard High School, helping students access the tools they need to achieve academic success.
Locals Only Gifts and Goods also supports local charities that benefit the most vulnerable members of our community. We have provided financial support and supply drives for Help Right Here, which helps the unhoused population in Chattanooga. We have also made monetary donations to Downside Up, a local nonprofit that provides support to families of children with Down Syndrome and other special needs.
We are committed to giving back to our community, and we regularly donate gift cards, merchandise, and gift boxes to local fundraisers. Help Right Here is a local non-profit that supports Chattanooga’s growing homeless population. It was created by a local public school teacher, Niki Perry, and school librarian, Ann-Marie Fitzsimmons, in 2019. They help care for people living in camps, on the streets or recently housed by providing survival supplies like tents, tarps, sleeping bags, food, clothing, mattresses, small furniture and cleaning supplies. One of their programs is called Artists in Transition. Artists in Transition is a group of local homeless or recently homeless Chattanoogans along with local photographer, Amy McKay, and WanderLinger Art Gallery curator, Rik Herrmann. They come together to paint, sketch and photograph. Their art raises funds for the artists themselves and for Help Right Here.
